What's been going on?!

The last two weeks have been crazy busy for us!  Here's what's been going on..

  1. Derek finished installing the laminate flooring in our new house.
  2. Celebrated Easter (a week late, I know...)



  3. We started moving into our new house! :)
  4. Hung up curtains, painted our fridge.
  5. Bought a new-to-us Chevy pick-up for Derek-of-All-Trades!
  6. Derek caught a cold.
  7. Our friends, Yi and Sarah came to visit.



  8. Went shooting, twice.
  9. My brother blessed his baby boy.



  10. My grandparents came up for the baby blessing
  11. My brother's in-laws came up for the baby blessing.
  12. We had a huge photo fest and lunch at my parents' house after the baby blessing.



  13. Set up our amazing sound system to go with our amazing TV and movies.
  14. My grandparents left. :(
  15. Yi and Sarah left. :(
  16. Got Cadence used to her new room.
  17. Found our cereal bowls.
  18. We moved my mom into Ashley Manor (it's an Alzheimer's and Dementia care center.  My mom doesn't have Alzheimer's, but the way MS is affecting her brain, a lot of her symptoms are similar.)
  19. Became a true stay-at-home-mom.
  20. Hung up our ceiling fan.
  21. Installed the washer and dryer.
  22. Planted two trees.
  23. Cadence caught a cold.

    Wow you guys have been so busy! So are you all moved in and out of our ward? I didn't know that your mom is now at Ashley Manor. What a big moment for your dad. Is he now all by himself for the most part? PJ and Rachel's baby is so cute! And she looks so stinkin' great. Incredible! That's awesome that so much of your family was able to come.

    Busy little family! I'm glad you're all moved in, that is so exciting. You'll have to have us over to see! I can't believe your bro already had their baby, what a special day for all the family.

    Wow - That is a lot!!!! I love the photos of Cadence and PJ & Rachel and their baby blessing! This is a lot of changes and it sounds like - except for the colds and family and friend leaving - they are all good and happy! Good luck this week in your new ward - we sure are going to miss you! :-(

    What an exciting time! We can't wait to visit you in your beautiful new home. It will be a fun, ongoing project to feather your new nest and become your own family again. Best of luck with this new adventure

    So sorry to hear that your mom had to be moved to Ashley Manor... your dad must be lonely with all of you moving elsewhere. Lots of changes and adjustments.... Hope you had a Happy Mother's Day. Love, Mom C
